Ashley Bastian, as a senior in the HealthCare Administration program here at UWM, I feel that one of my strongest traits is organization. Along with bringing systematic organization to this group project, I also feel as though I did a great job time managing to make sure the project was submitted within the sufficient time. Throughout this project I feel that I was an adequate team player when it came to the work load. I also feel as though I did a great job at communicating the specific details from the guidelines that were frequently missed the first couple times we ran through the project. I made sure that I was always contributing ideas whether it was how the design/layout of the website should be, or figuring out what important aspects should be involved with our theoretical model. I made sure that throughout the whole process of this group project I encouraged everyone to share ideas no matter what they were, and made sure that everyone was involved in every step. All in all I feel that my group as a whole did a great job at communicating and I am glad that I was able to contribute!
Emilie Mertens, as a junior in the Marketing program at UWM, I have contributed my visual and communication skills to help create a project that reflects what our team values to be important for leader effectiveness. I utilized my creative eye to help create a website that is visually appealing and easy to navigate. My strong editing skills have helped us put together parts of our project into a whole that possess unity and clear ideas. My ability to both lead and follow allowed me to suggest ideas and take my teammate’s ideas into consideration as well. I feel this benefitted our group’s productivity and quality of work because ideas were constantly being generated and tweaked to reflect our best work possible. Overall I feel our team worked very well together. All of us were equally as essential to the productivity of our team and held balanced amounts of responsibility. We also practiced good communication and had a strong desire to produce a high quality project, which made our group meetings productive. It was a pleasure to practice my visual, communication, and organizational skills while enhancing my teamwork skills as well!
Brianna McHugh, as a senior in the HealthCare Administration program at UWM, I contributed my active listening to the project. I feel that active listening is one of my strongest traits and it keeps the group organized to be all on the same page. This is beneficial for the team when we are working separate at times because I am able to fill everyone in on what still needs to be accomplished. It also allows me to be able to soak in the information other member are saying and bounce back other ideas that could be significant to the final project. I also feel I brought flexibility to the team. Working in a team can be difficult and it is important to keep an open mind on other people’s thoughts and ideas when making the initial plan. I was able to contributed my skills in making the website look clean since I have had some experience with web design in the past. Overall, we worked great at as team and managed to complete our project without any issues.
